TEXAS — Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien on Thursday who has been arrested a total of 18 times.
Reportedly, this will be the fifth time the agency has tried to deport the man.
Court documents state that 41-year-old Diego Carrizalez-Segura is a Mexican citizen who was living in Pharr.
“Records checks also revealed that Carrizales-Segura has an extensive criminal history going back to September of 1993,” according to the recent criminal complaint. Records also show he has been booked at the Hidalgo County jail at least 18 times.
Valley Central News reports that, over time, officers have booked Carrizalez on charges which include aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary of a habitation, theft, and driving while intoxicated.
Deportations on file for the man are as follows:
On Jan. 27, 2001, through Hidalgo
On Aug. 30, 2002, through Laredo
On Feb. 11, 2012, through Laredo
On Feb. 13, 2017, through New Orleans, Louisiana
The federal government most recently deported Carrizalez on Feb. 13, 2017, through New Orleans, Louisiana.
He is currently charged with illegal re-entry.
