After a bucket of gold flakes was stolen in broad daylight from an armored truck in Midtown Manhattan this past September, the suspect has been identified.

Police have identified, Julio Nivelo, an illegal alien, as the suspect who took the estimated $1.6 million from the truck while it was parked on West 48th Street on Sept. 29th.

Sources said that Nivelo, who goes by at least five different aliases and lives in New Jersey, has been deported to Ecuador four separate times since 1994 for similar thefts.

Law enforcement have reported that Nivelo is likely  in Los Angeles after initially suspecting that he was somewhere in Florida.

The bucket was extremely heavy – watch him snatch it out of the back of the truck and carry it BLOCKS away.
