An unemployed illegal alien has been arrested after he made several attempts to sexually abuse a 15-year-old girl.
Cristian Sanchez, 26, who was deported twice to Mexico, was found by authorities at the Franklin Sports Complex where he referees for soccer games.
According to a criminal complaint, Sanchez told the teen that he loved her and tried to kiss her on several occasions.
The complaint also stated that Sanchez appeared at the girl’s school with flowers that were covered in men’s cologne. According to ABC Wisn, “he said he wanted the teen to have the flowers so that she would remember him.”
When authorities questioned Sanchez, he provided them with a fake name, birthdate, and fake ID. He reportedly works part-time as a roofer, but is otherwise unemployed.
An investigation into Sanchez revealed a 2014 outstanding arrest warrant in Milwaukee County where he was charged for beating his wife in front of their children.
Sanchez is charged with one count of sexual assault of a child under 16 years of age, child enticement and refusing to aid an officer.
If convicted, he faces 65 years in prison and fines in excess of $200,000.
