A El Salvadorian man arrested at the border last year and “ordered” to leave but never did, is now on the run as a known gang member wanted for abducting and raping a 15 year old girl.
WJLA Washington reported that back in July of this year, Ronald Fabricio Herrera Contreras, 18, dragged a 15-year-old girl into the woods off Lee Highway in Falls Church, Fairfax County Virginia, and raped her.
A U.S. ICE spokesperson said that Herrera Contreras was picked up in June 2015 near Hidalgo, Texas, a town on the southern tip of Texas, by the U.S. Border Patrol. ICE processed Contreras and gave him an order to leave.
Now ICE has to track down this rapist and known gang member who will eventually be charged with the Rape, Abduction, Assault and Battery, and gang participation. ICE has said finding him is a top priority.
Fairfax County police say that Contreras may be traveling back and forth from their area to New Jersey.
