An illegal immigrant who was a youth soccer coach in Texas is currently behind bars after being accused of sexually assaulting his players who are 10-15 years old.
Marcos Ramos, the coach of the team, is an undocumented immigrant living in Corsicana, Texas who is also wanted in his native country Guatemala for sexually assaulting three children.
Ramos also has a warrant out for his arrest in Houston for aggravated sexual assault of a child, and is currently facing three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and five counts of indecency with a child.
Police said Ramos fled Central America and entered the U.S. illegally and first settled in Houston, where he coached a boys’ soccer team.
It has been reported that Ramos lived across the street from a middle school and close to the team’s practice field.
Ramos is currently being held in the Navarro County Jail on a $500,000 bond, and is considered to be a flight risk for his criminal history.
