Inauguration Day Card Missing Key Detail – Trump

The Washington, D.C. Metro system has offered a “SmartTrip” card for Inauguration Day since the 2012 presidential election.

After Barack Obama’s win in 2012, the commemorative card featured the new president on it, but had designed a card for Mitt Romney just in case.

This year, D.C. Metro decided to leave any reference to the new president off of the card, not even mentioning Donald Trump anywhere on the print-out.

After the 2017 card’s release, Twitter users wasted no time criticizing the decision to neglect President-elect Trump.
