Georgia authorities are on the lookout for inmate Dennis Carlyle, who escaped from the Atlanta Transitional Center around 3AM Saturday morning.

Located at 332 Ponce De Leon Avenue in Atlanta, officials say that the facility isn’t completely secure and acts as a halfway house for convicts at the end of their sentence transitioning from jail to societal life.

Carlyle was at the end of 7-year sentence for robbery when he was entered into the center.

As of Sunday morning police weren’t able to comment on Carlyle’s possible whereabouts but stated he was last seen wearing civilian clothes.
