Investigators Looking Into Plane That Flew Within Two Miles of Air Force One

According to a Bloomberg report, U.S. aviation authorities are investigating a private plane that came within two miles of Air Force One about thirty miles off the coast of Florida.

Planes under the supervision of air-traffic controllers are supposed to stay at least 3 nautical miles from each other near airports and as far as 5 nautical miles apart at higher altitudes.

The event took place on Feb. 3 and, according to the report, there was no risk of collision.
