National Security and Foreign Policy Commission official, and former Revolutionary Guard, Mojtaba Zonour bragged to Iran’s Fars News Agency on Saturday that “only seven minutes is needed for the Iranian missile to hit Tel Aviv.”
Tensions between the middle eastern nation and the U.S. have been ramping up ever since the Iranians decided to test-fire ballistic missiles.
President Trump has responded with sanctions against the nation but the Iranian government vows to keep up the launching of what they refer to as “roaring missiles.”
The Iranians have directly attacked President Trump, calling him “reckless” and “inexperienced.”
President Trump responded to Iran’s recent actions and words via the following tweets:
U.S. National Security Adviser Michael Flynn said in a statement that Iran’s “belligerent and lawless” behavior across the middle east had only been augmented since agreeing to a deal with six foreign nations intended to govern its nuclear program for over a decade.
“The international community has been too tolerant of Iran’s bad behavior. The ritual of convening a United Nations Security Council in an emergency meeting and issuing a strong statement is not enough,” Flynn said.
