According to reports from Politico, a privacy group known as the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) will be suing the IRS for not disclosing President Trump’s tax returns.

On Saturday, EPIC filed a lawsuit under a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. EPIC attempted a similar request on March 29.

In the FOIA request, EPIC argues that the IRS should release all of Trump’s tax returns since 2010 to this year. They claim this will aid in efforts to find out if Trump has any financial or business ties with Russia.

“The Commissioner should move promptly to obtain permission from the Joint Commission on Taxation to release the records EPIC has requested,” it was stated.

Rallies around the country are taking place as a call to action for public demands that Trump releases his tax returns.
