A shocking report from Daily Mail offers additional evidence that European countries have no idea if refugees entering their borders are Islamic extremists, or people who are no threat at all that are simply trying to flee war torn countries such as Syria.
According to Daily Mail, an Italian intelligence report says an ex-NATO soldier who turned into an ISIS General has fled the war in Syria, and has returned to Europe with 400 of his troops by disguising themselves as refugees.
Lavdrim Muhaxheri, aka Abu Abdullah al Kosova, is a Kosovo Albanian ISIS leader known around the world for his appearances in various ISIS propaganda videos. He is also known for a video where he kills a captured man with a rocket, as well as pictures of himself decapitating another man.
Muhaxheri has been regarded as a serious threat to Kosovo and Albania after he joined ISIS. He was even designated as a global terror threat by the U.S. State Department.
He is believed to have been behind the planning of foiled attacks on the Israeli national soccer team, Serbian Orthodox churches, and other attacks across the Balkans in November.
While Italian intelligence sources believe Muhaxheri has returned to Europe and the Balkans with Ridvan Haqifi, a fellow ISIS fighter, Kosovo police insist this he is still in Syria giving orders and planning future attacks.
