Internationally, Monday saw grievous events unfold in Europe. In Berlin, an armored truck operated by two attackers plowed through a crowd at a Christmas market, injuring 50 and killing 9 people. And then in Turkey, Russian ambassador Andrey Karlov was assassinated by a radical off-duty police officer during a speech at an art gala.

Islamic State sympathizers and militants are celebrating both events in a closed chat group that utilizes the encrypted Telegram messaging service, according to Breitbart News in Jerusalem. Essentially, it’s an underground social media site for IS jihadists and sympathizers, and it has been used in the past to issue ISIS communication channels.

One user named Abu Dajana not only celebrated the graphic incidents, but also made an alleged threat that the United States will face a similar attack that happened in Berlin this coming Tuesday. Dajana writes:

“Today we shook Russia’s power once again like we shook it when our mujahedeen in Wilayat Sinai shot down their airplane. With the help of Allah, we will shake tomorrow the United States like we shook Berlin, which will pay the same price as Paris and all the other infidel countries that are fighting the Muslims.”

Another user, Abu Dajana wrote:

“Today we shook Russia’s power once again like we shook it when our mujahedeen in Wilayat Sinai shot down their airplane. With the help of Allah, we will shake tomorrow the United States like we shook Berlin, which will pay the same price as Paris and all the other infidel countries that are fighting the Muslims.”

In yet another threat to the U.S., Abu Musalama reportedly wrote:

“Today it is Russia, Turkey and Germany and tomorrow it is France, Belgium and the head of the snake, America. Our Mujahedeen and our supporters and the lone wolves will not forget the crimes of these infidel countries and they will make them pay the price.”

No word on whether official queries have yet been opened into these possible allegations by Islamic sympathizers.
