ISIS Releases New Video Against Enemies: “Enduring Glory”

Since the American Coalition’s retaking of Mosul, the Iraqi “capital” of the Islamic State, ISIS has been fighting a losing battle. Tactics and operations to counter their losing grounds have become futile, as forces from Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi’s Iraqi Army, the Kurdish Peshmerga, Shia militias, Christian militias, and the Turkish Nineveh Guard claim victory in retaking the fallen city.

Regardless of the impending defeat, ISIS has released an English language video called “Enduring Glory,” claiming militants conducting battle operations in Iraq and Syria are strengthening their numbers and resolve. Essentially, the Islamic State is promoting propaganda denying their crushing loss.

To further enhance the video’s message, Mosul residents and other Muslims are shown being punished under sharia law. Beheadings, suicide bombings, floggings, and executions are intermixed throughout the video. Violent battles and military assaults within the Middle East are also displayed.
