In a Monday tweet, first daughter and White House adviser Ivanka Trump praised Oprah Winfrey’s speech at the Golden Globe Awards, calling it “empowering” and “inspiring.”

While accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award for “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment,” Winfrey encouraged women to fight back against sexual harassment.
“For too long, women have not been heard or believed if they dared to speak their truth to the power of those men. But their time is up. Their time is up!” Winfrey said.
The speech fueled speculation of a possible presidential challenge to President Donald Trump by Winfrey in 2020.
According to a Monday report, Winfrey was “actively” considering a run, although she said in an interview following the Golden Globes Sunday that she was not.
The White House responded by saying that President Trump would “welcome” a challenge by Winfrey, The Hill reported.
