Trump-trashing actress Jennifer Lawrence told NBC’s Today co-host Savannah Guthrie Thursday that she’s planning on taking a break from her career after revealing that she isn’t booked to take on any new projects for the foreseeable future. “I don’t have anything set for two years,” she said.

The 27 year old Hollywood A-lister has been making the talk show circuit, promoting her new psychological horror flick Mother!, which just released on Friday by Paramount Pictures.

She’s also been making it clear that she hates President Trump, even going so far as to blame him for causing the recent spate of hurricanes because she feels like it’s “mother nature’s rage” in response to Trump’s administration.

“I think I’m just taking a little break,” she told Guthrie before saying, “I’ll see you in six months.”

After winning an Academy Award at the tender age of 22 (and nominated for three others), Lawrence has become one of Hollywood’s most popular actors. She starred in multiple billion dollar franchises, including the Hunger Games film series and three X-Men films, making her the highest paid actress in 2015 and 2016.

Lawrence is also one of Hollywood’s most politically outspoken stars, even going so far as to predict that Trump’s election would bring about global destruction.

During a promotional tour for the final installation of the “Hunger Games” movie franchise in 2015, Lawrence told Entertainment Weekly: “If Donald Trump becomes president, that will be the end of the world.”

Then, during a 2016 appearance on the “Graham Norton Show,” Lawrence relayed that she once had the opportunity to express herself to Donald Trump, who was the GOP presidential front runner at the time. “I was at a concert that I heard he was attending, so I had my full security, I was like, ‘Find Donald Trump. Because I was adamant on finding him and then making a video of me going, ‘Hey Trump, f*ck you!’”

The star’s political activism, Breitbart News’ John Nolte notes, may be hurting her box office brand. “Almost exactly five years after the release of House at the End of the Street — despite numerous Oscar nominations (and a win) and starring in two huge franchises (Hunger Games, X-Men), Lawrence’s hateful and bigoted mouth, her relentless attacks on men, Christians, President Trump and his supporters — could result in a record low opening for a Jennifer Lawrence film in wide release,” Nolte writes.

Still, Lawrence is expected to have a persistent presence on the red carpet for the foreseeable future. Due out next March, Fox’s Red Sparrow sees Lawrence as a Russian spy who falls for a CIA officer and is slowly convinced to become an ass-kicking double agent. She is currently filming her fourth turn as the shape shifting mutant Mystique in X-Men: Dark Phoenix and Lawrence recently signed on to take the starring role of billionaire tech entrepreneur Elizabeth Holmes in Adam McKay’s bio-drama Bad Blood.

Mother! stars Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Ed Harris, and Michelle Pfeiffer.
