Although the fires that have raged in Jerusalem, Israel, are not completely out, they are under control.
Fox news reports that Benjamin Netanyahu stated “the rash of fires that has raged for five days is “not yet over” but that the focus has moved on to recovery efforts.”
The Prime Minister spoke on Sunday from Haifa, the city hit hardest by the fires forcing tens of thousands of people from their homes. He promised fast track bureaucracy and start rebuilding and reimbursing victims immediately.
According to Fox news, Initial investigations point to the majority of the fires being caused by arson. Netanyahu has accused Arab attackers of being behind them.”
Though no deaths were reported, dozens were hospitalized for smoke inhalation and hundreds of homes were damaged.
