A tragic event took place in Saint Maarten this week, when a tourist from New Zealand was killed when she was struck by the blast of a jet engine.
Witnesses say the young woman was daringly grasping onto a fence at the time when the jet took off. It was located at the end of the runway, and numerous onlookers were present as the woman attempted to defy and resist the power of the jet’s turbine.
Unfortunately, the woman struggled to hold on and was tossed backward into a concrete barrier that separated the fence from the beach. She died as result from her injuries from the impact.
