Jimmy Kimmel Goes After Trump in Oscars Opening Monologue (video)

Late night TV host, Jimmy Kimmel is hosting the 89th Oscars this evening.  To no surprise, Kimmel opened the show and gave his liberal pals what they thirsted for — he bashed on Trump.

Kimmel said in his opening words that Democrats and Republicans must reach out to one another and “have a positive, considerate conversation.”  He went on to day that viewers were tuning in from all around the world including “more than 225 countries that now hate us.”

“I don’t have to tell anybody, the country is divided right now,” Kimmel said.  “People are telling me it’s time to bring everyone together, you need to say something to unite us. Let’s just get something straight off the top: I can’t do that.”

Kimmel then said we can make America great again if we all reach out and just speak to each other as American.  He then took his stab at Trump by suggesting the president is a racist. “I want to say thank you to President Trump. I mean, remember last year when it seemed like the Oscars were racist?”
