Wikileaks founder Julian Assange was the guest of Ron Paul on his show, “Liberty Report,” and spoke about the C.I.A. and their recent statements against him. Joining Paul via a video remote from the Ecuadorian embassy in London where he has been granted asylum, Assange responded to the C.I.A. Director Mike Pompeo saying that he has no first amendment rights since he is not a United States citizen.

“The CIA has been deeply humiliated as a result of our ongoing publications so this is a preemptive move by the CIA to try and discredit our publications and create a new category for Wikileaks and other national security reporters to strip them of First Amendment protections,” Assange said.
Pointing out that this was Pompeo’s first pubic speech as the appointee of Donald Trump, Assange did state that his company does in fact have reliable sources and also took Pompeo to task for putting media organizations and intelligence agencies on the same plane.
