President Trump’s second son, Eric Trump, spoke out in defense of his brother Tuesday evening, with regards to the barrage of media attention Donald Trump Jr. is getting over his June 2016 meeting with a Russian lawyer.
Eric posted a statement on Twitter, in response to a video statement by UK Brexit leader Nigel Farage, who has been a staunch supporter of President Trump.
Farage said Donald Trump Jr. is being attacked for supporting his father and has done nothing wrong. He said the liberal meeting is going to be screaming, “Ah-ha, we have it! Links with the Russians!” But Farage said when this all simmers down, it will be clear that there is nothing to it.
“This is the EXACT reason they viciously attack our family! They can’t stand that we are extremely close and will ALWAYS support each other,” Eric stated in his Twitter post, in response to Farage’s comments.
