DEVELOPING: The Treasury Department on Friday announced a new list of sanctions against Iran just two days after national security adviser Michael Flynn said the U.S. was “officially putting Iran on notice.”
The Trump administration puts forward the sanctions on the heels of a recent missile test conducted by Iran, as well as an attack by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen against a Saudi naval vessel.
The Trump administration is imposing sanctions on 13 people and a dozen companies.
