Three babies are finally home from the hospital three weeks after they were born. “Definitely bitter sweet,” said Joey Rott. “The worst part of my life and the best part of my life happened in the same week.”
It was the week Piper, Levi and Asher made their grand entrance into the world.

“That was her goal to carry for 34 weeks, to have healthy babies,” said Joey. “Nothing would get in her way from doing that and that’s what she did.”
It was also the week their mom, Casi Rott, was taken from them.
“It was overwhelming what happened, the tragedy,” said Charles Rott, Joey’s dad. “Overwhelming the blessings of three little ones.”
Casi died unexpectedly after a blood clot formed in her lungs just days after getting to hold her newborns for the first time. In the weeks after people from across the state, the country and the world responded.
“I’ve had people who I don’t know, who aren’t from this area that wrote me letters, or messages on Facebook or email,” said Joey. “It’s been awesome.”
On the family’s GoFundMe page alone people have donated thousands of dollars and sent prayers and encouragement no money could buy.
