Lawsuit Claims STD’s Carrey Gave Ex-Girlfriend Triggered Her Suicide

Jim Carrey is currently being sued by Mark Burton, the estranged husband of Carrey’s ex-girlfriend Cathriona White. The original lawsuit filed by Burton accused Carrey of providing White with the prescription drugs she used to overdose in September 2015.

In addition to these claims, the newly amended lawsuit accuses Jim Carrey of giving his ex-girlfriend three different sexually transmitted diseases. In a revised complaint filed to the Superior Court of the State of California, Burton is claiming that Carrey lied about having STDs and then dumped White when she went to get tested.

The amended lawsuit alleges in 2013 White found out that Carrey had given her Herpes Type 1, Herpes Type 2 and gonorrhea. Carrey then pressured White to stay quest by making her sign a contract.

The complaint states that White began to notice symptoms of what could be an STD in January of 2013. Carrey then tried to blame the bumps on “agrivated folacles” from shaving or from having rough sex.

In another text message Carrey tried to blame the STD on someone White was with before Carrey.

Less than four hours after White told Carrey that she was tested for STD’s before they were together, Carrey broke up with her through a text message.

Carrey then ended the break-up conversation  with the following text message saying she was “too much drama.”

In the messages posted below White references a contract that Carrey had put pressure on her to sign so that she could not file a suit against him after learning Carrey had given her multiple STDs.

The revived complaint also includes a letter that White wrote to Carrey in 2013 after she learned she had contracted the STD’s. In the letter she describes herself as ‘damaged goods,’ and that she has been made to feel ‘disrespected, degraded, called a whore, an opportunist, threatened’ and like an ‘ungrateful b****.’

In Burton’s complaint that he filed, he claims this situation played a part in triggering White’s suicide.
