LEAKED: DNC’s new motto mimics pizza chain’s marketing


The Democratic Party is receiving a swell of bad news this week after a new report announced the DNC is facing significant financial woes. Fundraising is at a low and debt is climbing.

Now, even their newest rumored slogan is being ridiculed.

The Washington Post released an article on Wednesday reporting that, after much debate and polling, Democrats have finally come up with a new slogan for their 2018 campaign platform.

The new platform is “exactly what the doctor ordered,” according to the Post article.

“Titled “A Better Deal: Better Skills, Better Jobs, Better Wages,” it is expected to have many Democratic staples — tax increases on the rich, affordable college, infrastructure spending, higher wages, job training, paid family leave and the like — and a few new ones.”

The new slogan, “A Better Deal: Better Skills, Better Jobs, Better Wages,” is already catching flack, however, as many have observed it appears to be taken straight from Papa John’s Pizza, whose slogan for years has been, “Better ingredients, better pizza, Papa John’s.”

Jeff Stein of Vox.com tweeted several times about the new slogan on Thursday, noting that, “This is the result of months of polling and internal deliberations among the House Democratic caucus.”

Rep. John Garamendi also used the new slogan in a Tweet Thursday:
