Data on documented known or suspected terrorist encounters occurring near the U.S.-Mexico border during a one-year period, from July 20, 2015 to July 20, 2016 has now been leaked to the public, thanks to Breitbart Texas.

Donald Trump launched his presidential campaign based on concerns of what is coming across the Mexican border.  The number reveal his concerns were right on target.

Breitbart announced Monday they had exclusively obtained the leaked FBI documents which reveal that 7,712 terrorist encounters occurred within the one-year period of persons known or suspected of being terrorists attempting to entering the United States across the Mexican border.

The documents were part of the educational materials used by the Terrorist Screening Center.  Breitbart has released 9 pages of a 10-page document titled “Known or Suspected Terrorist (KST) Encounters Briefing” from the Arizona Counter Terrorism Information Center.

Texas, California and Arizona were the states with the highest encounters, as they all share a border with Mexico.  The documents include maps showing where the encounters occurred.

In Arizona alone, the majority of terrorist encounters were Muslim.

Not a single state on the map had zero encounters.

However, while the FBI documents provide data on actual encounters….  we reported last month on an intelligence report from Army Col. Lisa Garcia, a spokeswoman for the U.S. South Command, who stated that in 2015 there were 331,000 migrants who came across the U.S.-Mexico border, and of that, they estimated more than 30,000 of those were from countries of terrorist concern.

In Arizona of encounters with illegal aliens who were terror suspects occurred in Phoenix. The Ports of Entry encounters were from aliens who just walked up and asked for asylum, as well as those caught being smuggled into the U.S. in vehicles.
