Controversial actress and feminist voice Lena Dunham is back in the headlines Thursday for criticizing American Airlines via Twitter after overhearing “transphobic talk” from two flight attendants.

“Not gonna call out the airline who delayed cuz shit happens BUT I did just overhear 2 @AmericanAir attendants having a transphobic talk,” Dunham wrote.

She then took it upon herself to message the airline directly after they demonstrated concern saying she thinks the talk reflects “uninformed employees.”

“Hi! I heard two female attendants walking talking about how trans kid are a trend they’d never accept a trans child and transness is gross. I think it reflects badly on uninformed employees of your company to have that kind of dialogue going on. What if a trans teen was walking behind them? Awareness starts at home but jobs can set standards for practice. Thanks for your consideration!” her message read.

The airline responded by saying they passed her sentiment along to the top brass.

It is yet to be determined how serious they’ll take Dunham’s complaint. This is the same actress who claimed that she isn’t pregnant but still wants to have an abortion.

For the record, “transness” isn’t a word.
Dunham has faced further controversy this summer, such as giving away her dog  and selling a tear-stained dress she wore election night.
