On Saturday night, the affluent Kalorama community in Washington, D.C., was bombarded by hundreds of LGBTQ protesters as they marched to Ivanka Trump’s house.
A coalition of anti-Trump protesters organized the ‘Queer Dance Party for Climate Justice.’
Colorful signs, speakers, and festive clothing enveloped the event, while protesters chanted explicit messages, such as, “F**k Trump.”
The protest was aimed at President Trump’s recent decision to roll back certain Obama administration climate change policies.
Despite the incessant protesting outside the first daughter’s $5.5 million home, she and her family were not present at the time. On Friday, Ivanka flew to New York City with her three children to celebrate her youngest child’s birthday with her in-laws.
While Ivanka and her family may not have been present for the late-night demonstration, her neighbors certainly were home.
One 82-year-old resident was so angered by the protesters and the ruckus they were causing, he was caught on camera shouting: “Get out of here! I live here… Do you want to get your f**king face hit?”
