Liberal Congresswoman Goes Off On Trump

In an interview with MSNBC’s host Jacob Soboroff, Rep. Maxine Waters, a Democrat from California, expressed her outrage with President-elect Trump and vowed to not work with him in the future.

Waters talked about Trump not having “good values” and asked why anyone should be expected to work with him?

“When we are in power, we are nice, we bend over backwards to work with people. Trump has stepped on everybody. He has no respect for his own colleagues, let alone those on the opposite side of the isle,” Waters claimed.

She went on to say that Trump has already “back-peddled on some of the promises he made,” and therefore, she has “no intention of pretending everything is alright, that we’re gonna work together.”

“I am going to fight him every inch of the way,” Waters said.

Soboroff interrupted Waters to verify that he heard her correctly saying, “Are you saying then that you would not sit down with President-elect Trump if he invited you to the White House to meet on common ground?”

Waters response: “Oh no! I won’t go! I’m not going! I’m not going to pretend. Enough pretending.”
