After the terror attack in London Wednesday, Donald Trump Jr. slammed London Mayor Sadiq Khan on twitter, referencing a comment the mayor had made last year, just hours after a terror attack in New York City, when he said that such attacks “are part of living in a big city.”

“You have to be kidding me?!: Terror attacks are part of living in big city, says London Mayor Sadiq Khan,” Donald Trump Jr. wrote on Twitter and linked to Khan’s comments in a September article in a British newspaper, in which Khan expressed such acceptance of terror following the ISIS-related bomb that injured 29 people when it exploded in Manhattan last year.

Trump Jr. highlighted the mayor’s sentiments that terrorism is something city-dwellers must deal with on the eve of four people being killed and another 20 reported injured by a knife-wielding assailant who allegedly drove a car into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge before crashing it and then getting shot by police.

After expressing gratitude to London’s first responders, Khan attempted to reassure Londoners that the city is one of “the safest in the world” in a recent video.
