Last year a man sent fear through a New Orleans Airport terminal when he began swinging a machete at police and passengers going through security.  Today, a video recording of the event has been released.

The 32-second surveillance video shows 63-year-old Richard White as he’s stopped at a security checkpoint at New Orleans International Airport on March 20, 2015. He is seen spraying two Transportation Security Agency workers with wasp spray and then pulling out a machete as he rushes through the checkpoint.

A sheriff deputy stopped the attack when he shot White three times. He died in a hospital the next day after refusing medical treatment because of his religious beliefs.
