A man was arrested on Friday in a town outside of Pittsburgh, Pa. after he allegedly performed a “Satanic ritual” on his girlfriend.
According to the criminal complaint, the incident took place in a North Huntingdon home on Jan. 10. Around 5 p.m., 21-year-old Kyle Parker got into a heated argument with his 19-year-old girlfriend.
Parker allegedly used a razor blade to cut her hand while they were fighting, and the girl passed out. He then used the razor blade to cut her leg several times.
When she regained consciousness, she called a friend to pick her up from Parker’s house.
According to a report from CBS News the victim returned the next day to retrieve her vehicle. When she arrived, Parker told her there was one thing she wouldn’t be getting back. “By the way,” he allegedly told her, “I sold your soul to the devil.” He told police it was part of a “Wiccan” ceremony, which revolves around witchcraft.
According to North Huntingdon Police Lt. Rod Mahinske, Parker is a familiar character to police, noting that they’ve had “numerous” dealings with the strange man in the past.
Now Parker is facing a list of charges, including simple assault and harassment. He has been detained in the Westmoreland County Prison on $75,000 bond.
