Man Loses 330 Pounds By Walking to Walmart

Weight Loss Walmart 2

Three years ago, an Arizona man who weighed 605 pounds looked in the mirror, became disgusted with himself, and decided to walk to Walmart every time he wanted a meal.

Pasquale “Pat” Brocco, 31, said he went home from a doctor appointment, after being told that his life was in serious danger, and took a photo of himself in front of a mirror.

“My stomach was down to my thighs. My chest was hanging down here,” he told ABC News, pointing to his stomach. “I was disgusted.”

The nearest Walmart was one mile away.   Three times a day, for every meal, Brocco walked to Walmart, then back home again to prepare and eat his meal.

“You walk to Walmart three times a day, and you end up walking 6 miles,” he said. “It’s amazing because I never walked 6 miles in my life, and I was doing it every day.”

ABC News reported that after two years, he had lost 200 pounds, and now three years later, he has lost 330 pounds.
