A man was arrested early Wednesday after police found firearms and ammunition in his possession at the Trump International Hotel located on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C., between the White House and the U.S. Capitol.

Police arrested Bryan Moles, 43, of Edinboro, Pennsylvania, inside the hotel around midnight Wednesday.

Charging documents revealed that officials learned Moles was traveling to D.C. in possession of a Glock 23 pistol, a Carbon Bushmaster assault rifle and 90 rounds of ammunition. According to police, Moles made verbal threats, but investigators did not divulge who the threats were directed toward.

One of the guns was left inside Moles’ car in plain view of police. The other was located in the glove compartment.

Moles faces a charge of carrying a pistol without a license.
