On Tuesday, a 24-year-old Bronx man was hit by a car on Interstate 95 after he escaped a moving van in Westchester County.

Mouhamed Cisse jumped from a white U-Haul van with Arizona plates as it sped past the city of Mamaroneck during rush hour traffic at around 6 p.m.

Immediately following the risky escape, he was then hit by another vehicle in the northbound lane between exits 18B and 19, according to police.

The troopers who found Cisse said he was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on top of being struck by the car. He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
