Outspoken billionaire Mark Cuban jumped into the pool of President Trump bashers with a few criticisms of his own on CNN Tuesday night.
Cuban, a former Hillary supporter, told host Erin Burnett on CNN’s “OutFront” that Trump’s temporary ban was a “misstep.” Following up with stronger words, Cuban said, “The ban was half-assed and half-baked, right.”
Cuban owns the NBA basketball team The Dallas Mavericks so Burnett brought up a statement issued by Mike Bass, an NBA spokesman, which read: “The NBA is a global league and we are very proud to attract the very best players in the world.”
When asked by Burnett if the ban would hurt America, Cuban had this to say:
“Let’s just be real, real clear. The ban was half-assed and half-baked, right. If the goal was security, why do you leave off any other countries that hosted terrorism? It was half-baked, it wasn’t thought out, it was rushed, and it was ridiculous. When something like this happens, it calls into question the management skills of the guy in charge.”
