Sometimes radio and TV personalities believe they are bigger than the people who pay their salaries, and here is one of those times. Radio host, Mark Levin, needs to come down off his high horse.
Days ago, Mark Levin bashed #NeverTrump proponents as dumb-dumbs for going against a Republican candidate – even if that candidate was Donald Trump. He rightly argued that any Republican would make a better president than Democrat Hillary Clinton. Virtually hours later, Levin became a NeverTrumper. Why? Because Trump ally, Roger Stone, accused Levin of bulk selling his books to a GOP establishment group. Levin didn’t like this, and so he became unhinged.
Mark Levin has declared, “I am not voting for Donald Trump. Period” and “count me as never Trump” on Friday. He then ranted on how Roger Stone and Anne Coulter are sleazeballs. Whether Stone and Coulter meet that description is up to the individual to decide, but either way, because of his distain for the two, and a general disliking for Trump, Levin will not vote for Trump if he is the nominee. Meaning, if it comes down to Hillary and Trump, he won’t support Trump.
He then added, “Now, I’ve backed Cruz, and I’m going to continue to back Cruz, but here’s what I’m going to do. As a result of what the Trump supporters have attempted here, particularly Roger Stone, I am not voting for Donald Trump. Period. … And if anybody has a problem with that, Donald Trump, you can talk to Roger Stone. These bully, dirty tricks, Nixonian tactics, they’re only going to backfire. They’re only going to backfire. So, count me as never Trump. There’s been too much of this folks, way too much of this. The crap in the National Enquirer against Ted Cruz, the attacks on Michelle Fields, I mean, I can go right through the list, too much, too much, too much. At some point, you’ve got to stand up to it.”
Levin concluded, “And if they piss me off one more time, I’m going to urge millions and millions of you, should he get the nomination, not to vote for him either.” And “‘Ooh, Roger Stone has nothing to do with the campaign.’ Oh yes he does.”
So in other words, whether he realizes it or not, the hot-headed loud mouth Levin just landed himself as a Hillary supporter. It’s simple. If it’s Trump v. Clinton, and you tell millions of people not to vote for Trump, you are telling them to stay home which is a vote for Hillary. Levin is on his way to being a total has-been.
