A limited edition of Nike’s Lebron 14 sneakers was the cause of major commotion at a New York City retailer.
The $175 Nike LeBron 14 ‘Out of Nowhere’ basketball shoe, worn by Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James, pre-launched at Foot Locker’s House of Hoops location on 34th St. this past Friday.
Reportedly, only a few retailers are selling the limited number of shoes ahead of the official Feb. 10 release date.
A massive fight broke out in front of the store debuting the coveted Nike sneakers, which was captured on the video below by a witness.
People are seen throwing punches and violently shoving and screaming at each other. It is not clear how the fight began, but it resulted in the store’s doors being shattered.
Social media lit up with videos and pictures of the chaos that erupted in front of the store.
The New York Post reports that the NYPD did not confirm if anyone was arrested.
Warning: videos contains strong language. Below are multiple videos of the brawl.
