Maxine Waters on Ben Carson: “I’ll tear his a** apart”

Speaking at an ESSENCE Empowerment event in New Orleans Saturday, Congresswoman Maxine Waters went on another rant against President Trump and his entire administration, including Housing and Urban Development director Dr. Ben Carson.

“Ben Carson was appointed to be the HUD secretary,” she ranted. “He knows nothing about the mission of HUD. He doesn’t care about people in public housing. He believes that if you are poor, it is your own fault. And he doesn’t know the difference between an immigrant and a slave.”

But that wasn’t all.

“And if he thinks when he comes before my committee where i am the ranking member of the financial services [SIC] that I am going to give him a pass, I am going to take his a** apart,” Waters continued.

Essence posted portions of her 15 minute speech, both on Twitter and YouTube, where Waters revved up the crowd and demanding that they get busy and “do what needs to be done” to “impeach 45!”

In the following clip of the same speech, Waters continued her slam against President Trump and other in his administration. She complained that Trump “wants to undo Obama’s legacy.”

“Ladies and gentlemen, I am taking off the gloves,” Waters declared.  “We’re going to lock him up!” Water yelled, admitting she never thought Trump would be elected.

“I don’t honor him, I don’t respect him, and I’m not going to tolerate him. I’m going to do everything I can do to get him impeached!” she told the crowd.

The same day, protesters held rallies around the country, calling for Trump’s impeachment.  A few days earlier, Waters had declared impeachment wasn’t enough, and tweeted that “maybe we should explore exile.”
