On Thursday morning, President Trump blasted out a Twitter post regarding the current relationship between the United States and Russia.
He placed the blame on Congress, noting it is the same people who failed in the efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare.
“Our relationship with Russia is at an all-time & very dangerous low. You can thank Congress, the same people that can’t even give us HCare!” Trump tweeted.

Senator John McCain, who voted “no” on the latest healthcare vote despite President Trump’s personal plea, shot back a retort to the president’s tweet.
“Our relationship w/ Russia is at dangerous low. You can thank Putin for attacking our democracy, invading neighbors & threatening our allies,” McCain stated.

After McCain voted no on the “skinny repeal” of Obamacare, it was noted that he had received a “gamechanger” phone call from former Vice President Joe Biden which is suspected to have influenced his final vote.
President Trump signed a new sanctions bill Wednesday that imposes sanctions on Russia and Iran, as well as North Korea’s shipping industry.
The bill severely limits Trump’s own ability to provide any relief in easing of the sanctions in the future without congressional approval.
Russian President Vladimir Putin had already acted in harsh retaliation to the sanctions bill, even before President Trump signed it, ordering 755 U.S. diplomats to leave the country.
Iran also reacted to the new bill, claiming it is a breach of the 2015 nuclear deal it had with the Obama administration and threatened to take action, including taking steps to “improve” Iran’s armed forces.
