Media Was Silent On Testimony Of Mothers of Murdered Kids

Tuesday, April 19, two mothers, whose children were murdered by illegal aliens, testified at a hearing before the House Judiciary Committee’s Sub-committee on Immigration and Border Security.

Mainstream media was silent on the hearing.  The Obama administration fights for the “undocumented immigrant”, but publicity is scarce for the victims and families of those who have suffered at the hands of illegal alien criminals.

Testifying Tuesday was Michelle Root, whose daughter, Sarah, was killed by an illegal alien drunken driver in Omaha, NE on January 31, 2016 – less than 24 hours after she had graduated from college with a 4.0 GPA.

Mrs. Root spoke of her daughter’s murderer:  “Edwin Mejia spent four days in jail and is believed to have fled the area and possibly the country after posting $5,000 bail. Less than the amount it cost to bury my baby. Because of the lack of controls, the police, immigration, U.S. Marshals and law enforcement have little or no information on his whereabouts on him, his family and acquaintances. He and those who protect and hide him are cowards.”

Also testifying Tuesday was Laura Wilkerson, whose son, Joshua, a senior in high school, was brutally murdered by an illegal alien who was a fellow student at his school, on November 16, 2010. She shared the unspeakable details of how her son was tortured and killed.

Wilkerson concluded, “I see this American government scrambling over themselves to pretend to care about American Families, and instead to give away every bit of it to people whom have broken your laws on how to enter this country. Then on to break other laws, now to having sanctuary cities, teaching them how to grab a piece of America unlawfully, and at the expense of American families.”
