His name is Dan.  His specialty is Twitter.

Dan is the man who spearheads President Trump’s social media accounts. So, in many ways, he is the “sender” of the messages that dictate the daily news cycle, spark the biggest controversies, and set special counsels searching for more clues.

Dan met Trump years ago when he was a golf caddy. According to Dan, Trump told him that one day he’d work for him.

Dan eventually went to work for Trump, running one of his golf courses.  Then one day he decided to start his own social media business. But just before he handed in his resignation, word hit the wires that Trump decided to run for president. Not only did Dan stay with the organization, but he became Trump’s right hand man when it comes to social media.

Dan told Fox News he sees most of Trump’s tweets before they are published. Actually, he types most of them for the president. Trump dictates, Dan types.

Sometimes, Trump goes around Dan and tweets himself. This sort of thing usually happens in the early morning or late evening when Dan ain’t around. Dan says he’s cool with that, “it’s Trump being Trump.”

When asked if he ever thought one of Trump’s tweets was not a good idea to send, he said yes, but there have only been a few that meet that description.
