Meet the graffiti artist of the Trump era (pictures + video)

During the GOP primaries, a 49-year-old street artist – and former U.S. Marine – who calls himself Sabo got a huge breakthrough and became famous when he put up a poster of Ted Cruz, portrayed as a toughened tattooed convict.

Again, during the general election campaign between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, Sabo made a whopping $20,000 in a single day with a poster of a skull bearing yellow hair, labelled, “The deplorables.”

While Sabo actually deplored President Trump during the primaries, believing he would lose to Clinton, he now says he is “cautiously optimistic” and that he came to love Trump “when I saw how hard he was kicking liberals in the teeth.”

Now Sabo has become the king of guerrilla art – for the right – in the liberal city of Los Angeles.

He works under cover of darkness, plastering the city with posters targeting liberals.  In addition to the posters and signs he spreads across the city, he sells posters, T-shirts and pins on his website and at Republican events across the country.

On his website, he has pictures of Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, naked, tatooed, with very uncomplimentary slogans.

According to The Guardian, Sabo said he became disgusted with liberals when they defended Bill Clinton from rape allegations.  He stated, “I truly believe Hillary is demonic,” and has expressed concerns about Islam taking over Europe.

“I think leftism is a mental disorder,” Sabo said in an interview. “I truly believe I’m fighting the good fight.”

“Republicans are the new punk,” said Sabo.  “I’m pretty much the only right-winger doing guerrilla art. I’m like patient zero, the first one doing this on our side.”

“I live in LA. I’m in the belly of the beast – so why not punch it every now and then,” Sabo told Tucker Carlson in an interview earlier this year.
