It was the vaunted Halloween episode on NBC’s “Today” with Megyn Kelly, and the former Fox News host came out in the skin-tight garb of Shania Twain from her famous “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” music video.

Kelly apparently prepared well for the gig, telling Twain, who later showed up on set, that she had watched her videos all morning, trying to nail down the singer’s mannerisms.

When asked how she felt about the costume, Kelly replied: “Every shred of my dignity is gone, so I feel like I’m home.”

She even lip synced a few bars of the legendary song into a mic much to the delight of the crowd.

“This is really so fun. I spent all morning watching your videos all morning. And I still screwed it up,” Kelly said to the Grammy-winning artist.

“You were perfect,” Twain assured Megyn.

The host then spoke about the benefits of her wardrobe.

“Can I tell you, first time I’ve ever had a corset on, I highly recommend it,” said Megyn.

“The corset gives what three children take away.”

Megyn got another surprise at the start of her show as well, when she discovered that her dressing room had been covered with toilet paper by her staff.

“Happy Halloween, everybody. Yes. It’s an exciting day here at Today, as it is every year. But this is my first one. We’re having so much fun already,” Megyn told the studio audience.

“We’ve got fun treats. We got prizes and surprises coming up for some of you. It’s an annual tradition for the Today show to go all-out. We get a little costume crazy, including yours truly.”
