Megyn Kelly is set to interview the controversial conservative radio host Alex Jones on her NBC news program in the coming weeks, according to Jones himself.

Jones said on his internet show “Infowars” he plans to confront Kelly about remarks she made about him on Fox News before her highly publicized departure from the media giant.

He is also cognizant that this marks a rare move into the mainstream media world. He’s turned down many offers in the past, but couldn’t pass up the juicy platform of “Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly.”

“I’d be dumb if I didn’t do some of these interviews,” Jones said.

NBC news declined comment as they prepare for the premiere of “Sunday Night” with Megyn Kelly’s interview with President Putin as the main story.

Jones, who is often called a conspiracy theorist, has recently apologized for two misleading headlines that got him into hot water.  In addition, during a recent child custody battle with his wife, Jones’ lawyer told the court that Jones is not really the guy he plays on radio and TV — “it’s all just an act.”
Megyn Kelly will most likely bring up those topics.
