Megyn Kelly resorts to awkward dancing, as ratings tumble

Media outlets are speculating about the state of Megyn Kelly’s career after she started dancing with NBC colleague Hoda Kotb on the 9 a.m. EST Megyn Kelly Today show Thursday.

On social media, some are calling it a “cringe-worthy, pre-planned attempt to boost ratings and perhaps humanize the former Fox News Channel anchor,” according to a report in Inquisitr.

“Last year, Kelly was a rising star on Fox News, earning national headlines for her dogged questioning of presidential candidate Donald Trump. But her short tenure on NBC’s Megyn Kelly Today continues to be challenging both for her and the network. The show premiered on Sept. 25, and its ratings continue to tank,” said The Washington Post.

In the segment, Kotb told Kelly that music makes her feel good, and the two women suddenly started dancing awkwardly to Pitbull’s “I Know You Want Me” as they coaxed audience members to join.
