“Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly” has hit a new record… well, a new record low for the former Fox News host. Total viewers for last night’s airing were 3.1 million, down from an already record low for the show of 3.21 million total viewers, according to Nielsen data.
As “Sunday Night’s” viewership continues a downward trajectory, an old airing of “Dateline” that ran during the week Kelly took off, the Fourth of July holiday weekend, got 3.73 million total viewers in the time-slot.
The “Dateline” airing averaged a .5 rating for 18-49-year-old’s, the coveted demographic, while Kelly’s last two programs averaged only .4 in the same age group.
This week, reruns on CBS of “60 Minutes” and on ABC of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” also continue to beat Kelly’s news show, with 5.9 million viewers and 4.25 million viewers, respectively.
