Multi-lingual First Lady Melania Trump had an emotional visit with sick children at the Bambino Gesu hospital in Rome on Wednesday.

According to spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham, Trump had written a personal letter to Pope Francis asking if she could visit the hospital.

“She went in the children’s [intensive care unit], which was very emotional,” Grisham said, adding, “She spoke to them in Italian, she signed bandages and she took lots of selfies.”

In addition to English and her native Slovenian, Trump reportedly speaks German, French, Italian and Serbo-Croatian.
