Filmmaker and author Michael Moore is traveling the media circuit and rallying for widespread protests leading up to and surrounding President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20th.
Moore appeared on MSNBC’s ‘All In with Chris Hayes,’ this week. In the interview, Moore told Hayes and viewers that Trump does not have a mandate and has no right to enter the White House as president.
“That needs to be said over and over again. I am calling for protesting, obstructing, disrupting, and civil disobedience [to prevent this].”
Moore is using the airtime to bluster about unanswered questions, collusion with Russia, and what he characterizes as a fraudulent election. He said Americans have a right to know what the hell was going on.
“People need to have their voices heard. Don’t say to yourself, ‘Well, what’s the use? How can we do anything? Nothing’s going to happen.’ You don’t know that. You DON’T know that! That’s why we have to keep fighting. We have to fight all the way to Inauguration Day and be ready for them to start passing law after law after law the day after.”
