Michael Moore gets slammed by Donald Trump Jr. over Mar-A-Largo statements

Liberal rabble-rouser Michael Moore recently questioned whether President Trump’s Florida resort, Mar-A-Lago, had provided shelter to displaced persons following Hurricane Irma. Donald Trump Jr. quickly answered the disagreeable filmmaker with a common-sense tweet.

Mar-a-Lago is a resort and National Historic Landmark in Palm Beach, Florida. It was built in the 1920s and includes a golf course, hosting facilities and dining establishments.

Mar-a-Lago, Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach, and Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter were all evacuated and closed as of Friday, according to reports, as were millions of other businesses.

In response to Moore’s query as to whether Mar-a-Lago had remained open as a shelter, Trump Jr. wrote Sunday on Twitter: “It’s on an island on both the ocean & intercostal and in a mandatory evacuation zone… probably not the best idea, but you know, narrative!”

On Twitter, Don Jr.’s followers responded favorably to his tweet, suggesting Moore doesn’t have a good grasp of geography, or that he just wants a “Trump steak” and can’t find the fortitude to ask for one.

Irma is currently being categorized as a tropical storm, and is now in northern Florida, heading into Georgia and Alabama. The storm has caused massive flooding in some parts of the state.
