Speaking at a campaign rally for Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton on Thursday in New Hampshire, Michelle Obama grabbed onto the allegations against Trump and ran with it for her entire speech.
“I can’t stop thinking about this,” she said. “It has shaken me to my core in a way I could not have predicted.”
She referenced recorded remarks Trump made in 2005, which he has apologized for, slamming his language as “hurtful and hateful.”
“Language that has been painful for so many of us,” she continued. “Not just as women, but as parents trying to protect our children and raise them to be caring, respectful adults. And as citizens who think our nation’s leaders should meet basic standards of human decency.”
It was an almost half-hour attack on Trump in an attempt to portray him as being abusive and dangerous to women.
Meanwhile, President Obama has brought in hundreds of thousands of Muslims into the United States through both the refugee program and the green card visas, who have a history of following sharia law, which is abusive and demeaning to women. Donald Trump has called for a pause in allowing people from Muslim nations into the U.S. until a better vetting system is in place.
Although her entire speech is focused on Trump, she really gets into it at the 4:00 mark.
